Who We Are
The German Catch'n Serve Ball Association (DCSB) is the national governing body for Catch'n Serve Ball in Germany. Founded in December 2024, we have made it our mission to establish this innovative, inclusive sport nationwide and to forge connections within Europe and beyond.
Under the leadership of our board of directors—comprising President Tatjana Gerber, a former player in the 1st Volleyball Bundesliga for Schweriner SC, former captain of the Israeli national volleyball team, and current player on the German national A-team—as well as First Vice President Yoram Ehrlich and Second Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Suwarie Topaz, the DCSB brings professional expertise and an international perspective to this dynamic sport. Our leadership team has extensive networks in sports organizations, the business community, educational institutions, and community groups, thereby creating valuable connections that support our mission. Together, they are committed to establishing Catch’n Serve Ball as a cornerstone of the German sports landscape.

Our Sport
Catch'n Serve Ball is an extremely accessible team sport in which players catch the ball and throw it over the net to their opponents. Although it shares similarities with volleyball in terms of team and court size, net height, and rules, it offers unique advantages:
Immediate sense of achievement, even for beginners
Low barriers to entry for all age groups and fitness levels
Inclusive from the ground up, allowing for mixed-gender teams
Easily adaptable to different skill levels and environments

Our Mission
Our mission is to establish Catch'n Serve Ball in Germany and Europe as an inclusive and community-building sport and to motivate people of all ages and backgrounds to engage in more physical activity and teamwork.
In a time of increasing social fragmentation and health challenges, Catch'n Serve Ball offers unique opportunities thanks to its accessibility and inclusive nature. The sport brings together people of different ages, cultures, and abilities, thereby promoting mutual understanding and social cohesion.
