Coaches & Players Seminar Berlin 2026
From June 19 to 21, 2026, Berlin became the hub of the German Catch’n Serve Ball community. For three days, players, coaches, families, and interested individuals came together for an intensive mix of learning, discussion, and athletic action—and it was a great success.
New Coaches, New Inspiration
During the seminar, numerous participants successfully completed the official DCSB coaching courses. The newly certified coaches are now bringing their knowledge back to their regions and clubs to further establish Catch’n Serve Ball throughout Germany.
Workshops & Technical Training*
Whether beginners or experienced players, the workshops offered valuable content for all skill levels. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, participants learned throwing techniques, game strategies, and tactical fundamentals. The atmosphere was marked by openness, motivation, and genuine team spirit.
Lots of Fun—and an Exciting Closing Tournament
In addition to the training sessions, having fun together was clearly the main focus. The highlight of the weekend was the closing tournament, in which a mixed-gender team claimed victory. The games impressively demonstrated just how inclusive, dynamic, and accessible Catch’n Serve Ball is.
A weekend that leaves you wanting more
The Berlin event impressively demonstrated just how rapidly the Catch’n Serve Ball community is growing. New coaches, motivated players, and enthusiastic families—the DCSB is heading into its upcoming events with a lot of momentum, including the open practice at the Munich Sports Festival on July 5 and the first Open German Championship in October in Wiesbaden.

Catch’n Serve Ball Draws Enthusiastic Responses at the Augsburg Sports Festival
At the Augsburg Sports Festival, DJK Pfersee, SV Mering, and the team from the International School Augsburg (ISA) jointly showcased the trendy sport Catch’n Serve Ball, sparking great interest among visitors of all ages.
Hands-On Sports in Wittelsbacher Park
On the expansive grounds surrounding Wittelsbacher Park, guests could try out the sport for themselves and test their first throwing and catching techniques. DJK Pfersee introduced Catch’n Serve Ball as part of the hands-on activities and offered easy-to-try introductory exercises that immediately provided fun and physical activity. The press described the station as one of the attractions where visitors could “get to know the trendy sport of Catch’n Serve Ball from DJK Pfersee.”
Joint Effort by Three Dedicated Partners
DJK Pfersee presented the basics of the sport and staffed the hands-on station.
Through the collaboration with SV Mering and the ISA team, a lively, open space for interaction was created, which impressively showcased the diversity and accessibility of Catch’n Serve Ball.

Many families, children, and teens took the opportunity to learn about the sport. The combination of physical activity, low barrier to entry, and team spirit was particularly well-received and led to numerous conversations about training opportunities.

A Successful Step for the Regional Catch’n-Serve-Ball Community
The joint appearance at the Augsburg Sports Festival provided a significant boost to the sport’s regional growth. The collaboration between DJK Pfersee, SV Mering, and ISA demonstrates just how rapidly the Catch’n-Serve-Ball community is growing in and around Augsburg, and how much potential this young, dynamic sport holds.
